Powerful impetus for the hardware industry

EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair 2026 showed exactly where the global hardware industry is headed. Around 2,500 exhibitors from 53 countries showcased new products, smart applications and solutions for retail, the skilled trades and industry. The EISENforum provided expert insights on topics such as AI, procurement and market strategy. Meanwhile, the EISENworkshop celebrated its debut. Set in a stylised workshop, international creators gave live, hands-on demonstrations of DIY projects using products from the exhibitor portfolio. The event made Cologne a hub for innovation, exchange and new business opportunities.

In 2026, the EISENaward powered by ZHH was once again presented live at the trade fair. Held in partnership with the Central Association of the Hardware Trade (ZHH), the trade fair sought out outstanding ideas and solutions in the industry. Awards went to the most innovative products in the categories of tools, industrial supplies, fixing and fastening technology, fittings and home improvement.
