More than 2770 exhibitors from 58 countries took part in the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR 2018. We asked the exhibitors on site about their mood. Read the statements here:

The fisher group exhibited on the Boulevard for the second time and is very pleased with the response, because all of the important decision-makers from the trade were present within the first three days. These comprised more of the cooperations than the small dealers. 70 percent of the visitors came from abroad, which is particularly important for us. Since we were able to further expand our network here and establish contacts for future business in the respective countries.

At this year's EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair Cologne there was a well-balanced mix between international and German DIY customers and mail order distributors. Over the first three days of the fair, we were able to welcome almost all important trading partners at our interactive Smart Home exhibition stand.

We are celebrating our anniversary in Cologne this year - 150 years of Hazet - and have placed the focus on our many new and innovative products. Of course, we are very pleased with the outcome of the trade fair, because here we meet up with all of our national and international customers in one go over the space of four days.

Cologne is a very important specialised trade fair for us. This year we presented four strong brands that are interesting for specialised dealers at one stand and focused on their portfolios and new products. This went down very well with the trade fair visitors. All of the important national and international distributors visited our stand as well. For us EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair Cologne is extremely important for the dialogue with the specialised dealer.

We came to Cologne with the aim of presenting our new Gedore red line: A collection that encompasses just under 1,200 items and which comprises of high-quality tools for the global market. Because we say to ourselves everyone who needs tools deserves access to quality tools. The new line enables this across all markets. Customers from all over the world confirmed acknowledgingly that in our case business interests and social commitment go hand in hand with each other.

Of course, EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair Cologne is a tradition for the company Knipex. One could almost jokingly say that we welcome customers from all over the globe in our living-room here over the four days. The two industry prizes we were awarded with here, one for our innovative power and the other for our social responsibility, also show how important the trade fair is for us as exhibitors. We have the feeling that the customers have high expectations every two years when they visit us at our exhibition stand. Up until now we have always succeeded in fulfilling these expectations.

From Wera's point of view the fact that the trade fair has returned to its four-day rhythm really pays off, because the discussions with the customers are not so tightly scheduled. Both we and our customers benefit from this. This time gain is especially important for the many international customers because it gives them the opportunity to talk to a product manager at the stand in depth, whom they otherwise only communicate with per telephone or e-mail. Regarding the internationality: We don't have the chance to meet up with so many important customers within such a short space of time anywhere else other than in Cologne.

EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair Cologne is particularly important for us from an export point of view. We were able to meet up with important specialised dealers, importers, buyers from cooperations and also with online traders. As such the customer network from the export point of view has expanded considerably again over these four exhibition days.

EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair Cologne 2018 was a success for E/D/E. We held a meeting with our significant dealer group, the PREMIUM FORMAT GROUP in Cologne, met up with important suppliers together and supported the trade fair in this way. At an evening get-together we intensified the discussions with significant manufacturers away from the hustle and bustle of the fair - overall it was an all-round success.

We have decided to be present at the EISENWARENMESSE – Hardware Fair Cologne with the aim to reinforce our brand awarness. We consider the trade fair the most important worldwide “window” concerning Professional Hand Tools. Beta is well known for its strong brand, design and innovation and we have brought all these features to our booth this year. Beside our well-known range of handtools and cabinets, we presented our new workshop modular equipment, a high quality system all made in Italy. We still consider a trade show to be the best way to convince existing and new customers to continue to invest in our products and our brand.
