Dual training at HENKEL SE in Düsseldorf with studies in Mannheim, specialising in business administration, product marketing and sales.
Subsequently: study of industrial engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe (focus on OR and corporate planning).
Worked for BASF SE in Ludwigshafen for 10 years, mainly abroad. Project purchasing on major projects (site development) in PR China, Mexico and South Korea and development of country-specific sourcing platforms.
Since 2003, Head of Purchasing and Materials Management at REYHER in Hamburg.
Main focus:
Sourcing, qualification and consolidation of international supplier relationships, especially in South-East Asia.
South-East Asia, taking into account secure supply chains. China was brought into focus as early as 2005.
Today, sourcing in 38 countries and 4 continents with 1,500 suppliers and >80 employees.
