As Director Home & Garden, Collectibles, Toys at eBay, Andreas Häntsch is responsible for business in some of the biggest sales categories in Germany. He is also responsible for business in the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland and Poland.
He has been active in various positions at eBay since 2007. Prior to his present role, he was responsible as Director Seller Growth Automotive and Consumer Electronics for the business of commercial sellers in the categories of automotive parts and entertainment electronics.
As Head of Shipping and Local, he looked after both classic shipping themes and the omni-channel commerce segment. In this function, he realised diverse omni-channel initiatives for traders of all sizes and developed innovation projects brought onto the market by eBay together with sellers, shipping providers and major retailers.
Prior to this activity, he was responsible as Head of Enterprise Account Management Europe for the accounts of large and international trading companies and brand manufacturers that use eBay as part of their multi-channel strategy.
Before joining eBay, the business graduate worked for the management consultancy Accenture as a telecommunications and high-tech consultant for more than five years.
Andreas Häntsch studied business administration at the Freie Universität Berlin. He lives with his wife and two children in Potsdam.
