About Alex Durz
Alexander is a freelance logistics and process consultant and currently holds the position of interim COO at Kömpf Onlineshops GmbH.
After more than 15 years on the board of an online pure player in the B2C e-commerce sector, he gained further experience as a consultant as part of the European management team at Descartes Systems GmbH. While with the listed provider of logistics software, he was responsible for existing customer accounts and oversaw intralogistics projects in German-speaking countries.
At the start of 2020, Alexander Durz moved to the Augsburg-based software provider Xentral ERP GmbH, where he was in sole charge of existing customer business and, as Head of Services, held a seat on the management board.
In 2021, together with former colleagues from Xentral ERP GmbH, Alexander founded digitalXL GmbH & Co. KG – a specialist agency for cloud ERP and logistics software solutions.
Alexander, who holds a degree in business administration with a specialisation in logistics, also works as a lecturer in retail and logistics, focusing above all on practical strategies and solutions. He currently lectures in Merchandise Management Systems at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
