We, the Jöst company, are a medium-sized family business specialized in the development, manufacture and sale of sanding and cleaning pads as well as sanding and cleaning machines.

Abraflex® nonwoven abrasive: the all-rounder for a wide range of sanding jobs

As a renowned abrasives manufacturer, we are proud of our high-quality products. The focus for this year's hardware fair is on our Abraflex® nonwoven abrasives. Professionals use these nonwovens to carry out a wide variety of sanding jobs, such as matting previously shiny surfaces, smoothing wood and other surfaces and roughening a wide range of materials for better adhesion of paint and varnish.

As a manufacturer, we are able to provide any type of nonwoven abrasive in the familiar quality according to your wishes in almost any form of cut-to-size. Whether as jumbos or cut to size, individual wishes can be realized at any time. We offer a suitable solution for every requirement, also with regard to colour, grain size and corresponding company printing.

We look forward to a personal exchange at our stand!

Sustainably into the future #corporate responsibility

At our production site in the Odenwald, we attach great importance to producing in compliance with the strictest environmental standards. We source our raw materials exclusively from Germany or neighboring countries to ensure short procurement routes - an approach that not only protects the environment, but also ensures reliable delivery capability.

Our adhesive is free from carcinogenic formaldehyde, and the paints and binding resins used are environmentally friendly. Thanks to innovative electrification, we have created a more sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for drying our abrasives production, which has successfully replaced a conventional gas-based three-belt dryer. This conversion enables us to replace a dryer capacity of 900 kW/h with the use of renewable energies, which means we can dispense with the use of fossil fuels.

Our site in Abtsteinach is 90 percent energy self-sufficient thanks to photovoltaics on the roofs of the warehouses and production halls, a wind turbine and a 150 KW battery storage system. This battery storage system enables us to store the electricity generated from wind and solar energy and use it in our production. #togetherforasustainable future
