SLTT Inox lamellar flap disc

The efficient and powerful SLTT lamellar flap disc in the Inox version with sickle-shaped flaps is the improved alternative to roughing discs or conventional abrasive flap discs. The shape and arrangement of the flaps patented by LUKAS enable 50% less noise, less vibration, faster work, more power and better surface results compared to rough grinding discs. It is ideal for deburring, fettling, derusting, smoothing and weld seam processing and has been newly developed for grinding stainless steels. No glazing or heating of the flaps due to the active abrasive surface layer. Thanks to its multi-layered abrasive coating, this tool is always as sharp as when it was first used: when the upper flaps wear, fresh abrasive coating from the flaps underneath is exposed. This ensures a long service life and consistent work quality. Thanks to the self-sharpening effect of the zirconium aluminium oxide, combined with the high hardness and sharpness of the abrasive grain, this tool achieves high stock removal rates and a long service life, particularly on stainless steel.
