SKIL redefines DIY with brushless power tools.

Breda, February 2024 – SKIL, the renowned brand for electric DIY and gardening tools, proudly introduces its pioneering range of affordable, brushless power tools. Which solidifies its position as an industry leader. In 2024, SKIL marks its hundredth anniversary, making this new range a significant addition to the brand's celebratory year.

With the introduction of this new product line at the fair in Cologne, SKIL proudly reaffirms its continuous dedication to progress and innovation. With these tools, powered by an advanced digital brushless motor, SKIL achieves a significant first in the DIY sector. This milestone not only underscores SKIL's rich history but also marks a strategic step towards providing enthusiasts and professionals with the most advanced and optimal DIY experience possible.

More powerful, fast, and durable than ever

Brushless motors in power tools have been used by professional tradespeople for longer but are often too expensive for DIY users. SKIL proves its proactive character by introducing its affordable brushless range that includes a warranty of five years. The benefits of a brushless motor over traditional brushed motors are substantial. The brushless motor not only makes SKIL tools 50% more powerful and 45% faster, but this motor also has a lifespan that is 10 times longer. Moreover, the intelligent motor has the adaptive capability to adjust its power and speed according to the specific task at hand, for example, providing more drilling power for hard materials or increased speed for tightening or loosening screws. The SKIL Brushless Range is a testament to a century of innovation and promises an advanced future in the realm of DIY and gardening.

The SKIL brushless range will be introduced at the fair in Cologne and is set to hit the shelves in September available at selected retailers and the SKIL website.
