The first early booking phase for the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR from March 1 through 4, 2020 is over - and it already looks like the trade show is headed towards a new record: the largest exhibition in the hardware industry is growing significantly. This year, it offers even more space, attracts an increasing number of international exhibitors and presents more innovative solutions and concepts than ever.

Increased space for hardware topics and new trends: the #INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR 2020 will be extended by Hall 11, offering more than 165,000 square metres of exhibition space as a result, a plus of around 23,000 square metres compared to 2018. This extensive concept is designed to provide more space for innovative ideas and a clearer clustering by segment. The fact that more than half a year before the start of the fair 90 per cent of the available space is already booked shows how important the expansion is. So far, exhibitors from 49 countries have registered, 70 per cent of them coming from abroad - this, too, is an upward trend compared to 2018. In addition to suppliers from Asia, manufacturers and service providers from the USA, Spain and the Netherlands play an important role.

Registered exhibitors at the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR 2020 include such renowned companies as AS Schellenberg, Caterpillar, fischer, Gedore, Hazet, Pferd Rüggeberg, Schäfer & Peters, Schneider Electric, Stahlwille and SWG as well as the CAS cooperation. CAS is a network that currently comprises ten well-known manufacturers. Its approximately 130 machines and devices use the comprehensive Cordless Alliance System (CAS) for rechargeable batteries developed by the Nürtingen-based power tool manufacturer xy, which can be combined as required. The participation of CAS is already one of the highlights of the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR 2020.

In addition, some trade fair formats will be conceptually optimised. For the first time, international exhibitors will be able to show their innovations on the DIY Boulevard. And for one day, the EISENforum will turn into a start-up stage for young, innovative companies. Just like the eCommerce arena, the EISENforum will host even more international speakers next year - above all "eCommerce rock star" Michael Atug. Stay tuned ¬ there will certainly be many more exciting innovations and useful information before the fair opens its doors, and we will make sure to keep you up to date.
