In 1999, Gerardus Beurskens founded the company Beurskens in Straelen on the Lower Rhine. With over 19 years of professional experience in the manufacture and distribution of specialized stainless steel and steel structural components for the metal industry, the company initially focused on trading and distributing stamped and turned parts for tradespeople in the steel and metal construction sectors.

Thanks to the high quality of the products and their immediate availability, the company quickly achieved success and soon expanded its product range to other sectors such as glass and timber construction. To meet the steadily increasing demand, a move to a larger industrial park became necessary after just four years.

The continuous expansion of the product range led Beurskens to develop new products and innovative concepts to meet the rising quality standards. The original business model of trading and distribution was thus expanded to include the design and development of new products.

Beurskens even ventured into the development of entirely new and safety-relevant components, such as glass clamps for fall-protection glazing in interior and exterior applications. The company received general building authority approval for these clamping systems from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBT) in Berlin.
