The company Ing. Johann Hörtnagl Werkzeuge GmbH is primarily engaged in the manufacture and distribution of hand tools:
- Masonry tools (trowels, plaster hooks, etc.)
- Sheet metal and roofing tools (seaming pliers, decking pliers, slate hammers, etc.)
- Measuring tools (angles for carpenters, joiners, locksmiths, etc.)
- Drywall and painting tools (finishing trowels, spatulas, etc.)
- Forestry and garden tools (pick axes, garden shears, etc.)
- Sports equipment (ice axes)

Most of the items in the production program are manufactured for major customers and specialized retail in the desired packaging (private label). To optimally serve customers at home and abroad, and to support them as well as possible in their market activities, custom-made products and tools that deviate from the standard product are also manufactured, which requires a high degree of flexibility on our part.

As a family business, we are constantly striving to anticipate future demands and to be able to offer our customers new products in one of the above-mentioned areas on an ongoing basis.

We supply all structures of the tool distribution network, from corporations to hardware retailers, from department stores to online trade, in the necessary quality grades.

The following technologies are currently used by us: punching, bending, extrusion, sawing, separating, hot forming, machining, center processing, grinding, polishing, overlay welding, resistance welding, flash butt welding, laser welding, CNC milling and turning; in addition, there are processes that we outsource for contract manufacturing in our own tools (according to our own developments): plastic injection molding, forging.
