The coveted "EISENaward powered by ZHH" was once again presented live at the EISENWARENMESSE in 2024. In collaboration with the Central Association of the Hardware Trade (ZHH), the trade fair once again set out in search for outstanding new ideas, inventions and solutions in the industry. The award honoured the most innovative products related to tools, industrial supplies, fixing and fastening technology, fittings and home improvement.

Product name: Pronova Cardboard cartridge

Product description: The new Pronova cardboard cartridge. Paper instead of plastic. 80 % less plastic. In Germany, around 100 million cartridges of silicone, glue, acrylic etc. are sold every year. This corresponds to a total of 5,000 tons of plastic. The Pronova cardboard cartridge reduces plastic waste by 80 %, the cartridge body is made of paper and can be 100 % recycled after use. Irrespective of this, 53 % fewer CO2 emissions are produced during manufacture.

"After the market launch in 2023, we were inundated with positive customer feedback and new application ideas. Here at the EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair 2024 in Cologne, we also had many interesting conversations with customers. Due to the large amount of feedback requesting a larger clamping range, we will be launching a magnetic vice with a 160 mm clamping range for precise clamping of large and complex components on 1 May 2026. Combined with a modular, adaptable 400 x 400 mm welding plate, it can also be expanded into a mobile welding table. This was also one of the many customer requests we received.
