Because it requires less effort in terms of power and cutting force. It is also important not to overload the insert by drilling at an angle on small diameters, in order to avoid compressing the dust and to ensure efficient dust evacuation.

For better load distribution, allowing uniform wear of the cutting edges and a longer service life. The cutting edges are arranged at specific angles:

› 3 central cutters at 130°
Start the hole and ensure accurate centring and efficient penetration.
› 3 peripheral cutters at 145°
Take over and complete the drilling process with an effective concrete-breaking action.
