From 2026, vehicles with Spanish registration plates will be required to use a V16 emergency signal light instead of a warning triangle in the event of a car breakdown in Spain. This obligation does not apply to foreign vehicles, but it is highly recommended. The approved multifunctional Carpoint V16 LED warning light has three different functions; orange flash light, white stand light and torch function. The orange flash light and white stand light shines 360° and is visible up to 1 kilometer. Simply switch between the three different light functions by turning the lid. The lamp is easy to charge with the supplied USB to micro USB cable. The charge indicator shows the status of charging (red/yellow/green).
