The winners of the #EISEN Innovation-Award 2020 have been announced. Due to the Corona Pandemic, they were not presented at the trade fair this year as it had to be postponed, but at a digital event show. Many fans joined and celebrated during the live stream on August 6, 2020. Congratulations to all winners!
Exceptional functionality, attractive design, outstanding ergonomics, sustainability and profitability - that's what the three winners of the #EISEN Innovation-Award stand for. In 2020, they set again standards with their exciting innovations:
- ABUS August Bremicker Söhne KG with its HomeTec FCA3000/FSA3550 wireless window power unit. It turns the patio door into a secure back entrance by opening and locking it through the simple touch of a button or by entering a numerical code.
- BERNSTEIN Werkzeugfabrik Steinbrücke GmbH with its SPANNFIX 4 ball joint vise. With a jaw width of 100 mm, it is the largest ball joint vise on the market. Thanks to its flexibility, work pieces can be powerfully clamped at any angle.
- KNIPEX - Werk C. Gustav Putsch KG with its TubiX® pipe cutter. By way of its Quicklock technology, TubiX® allows precise positioning and gripping with just one hand.
This year, the jury decided to grant a special award for a particularly sustainable and efficient innovation to the CAS Group – Cordless Alliance System. This alliance includes 17 manufacturers of power tools. Based on the world's most powerful battery technology Metabo LiHD, they have developed a comprehensive cordless battery system for many professional applications.
For the first time ever, the coveted industry award was presented on a virtual stage. Better even: see and experience the award-winning products live at EISENWARENMESSE – International Hardware Fair from February, 21 to 24, 2021 in Cologne.
The #EISEN Innovation-Award is a well-established institution in the hardware industry and is becoming more popular and more international every year. 60 companies from 14 countries participated in this year's awards with a total of 75 entries in the categories tools, fastening technology and industrial supplies.
