The Sunday of the trade fair is going to be the E-Commerce Theme Day. Everything will revolve around the opportunities and risks of E-Commerce and the presentations of online suppliers. E-Commerce is indeed the talk of the town, however there are relatively few experiential values for the hardware industry. This is why Koelnmesse initiated the brief study "B2B Marketplaces 2016 - what it really comes down to" in cooperation with the Institute of Retail Research Cologne (IFH), the results of which are to offer the dealers and manufacturers from the hardware sector support in taking decisions when dealing with the theme of E-Commerce.

Online suppliers such as Alibaba.com, Google, nexmart, mercateo, PERITOOL, PROCATO, Toolineo and Zoro Tools are also on board with their own trade fair participations. This will enable the exhibitors and trade visitors to engage in direct dialogue with the suppliers and compare the individual platforms with each other.

A lecture programme on the opportunities and risks of E-Commerce as well as presentations by online suppliers, which will shed light on the theme from a wide range of angles. You can look forward to lectures by online experts for instance on the theme of online trade security or on the Dos and Don'ts for beginners and of course the presentation of the results of the brief study.
